SAADANI NATIONAL PARK
Day 1: Start voyage from Zanzibar early in the morning. Enjoy the boat cruise with refreshments and entertainment. Arrive in Pangani and meet the tour guide and team. Begin a riverboat cruise in Pangani, and observe the beautiful coconut plantations, bird life, and local fishermen fishing. The tour guide will explain the history and livelihood of the Pangani people, the coconut plantation, and the fauna and flora along the Pangani river while you enjoy a local coconut drink called ‘dafu’.
After river boat cruise, go to the Island for snorkeling, sunbath and picnic lunch. After lunch cruise to Purukanya Saadani and arrive at 6:00 pm. Register for park regulations and depart to Tanganyika Coastal Campsite. Arrive in time for dinner, overnight at Tanganyika Coastal Campsite.
Day 2: Early in the morning, go for early game drive in Mvave area at Saadani National Park. Return to Tanganyika Coastal Campsite for breakfast at 09:30am. After breakfast go for boat safari in River wami. Return to the camp for late lunch. After lunch go for afternoon and sunset game drive in Saadani National Park. Return to the camp for dinner, bonfire and overnight.
Day 3: Depending on the ocean tides, check out from Tanganyika Coastal Campsite after breakfast drive to the dock, and embark on the boat for the voyage back to Zanzibar
